When working with clips in the Browser, you may or may not be aware that the default columns you see are not the only options available to you. Here's a handy tip for calling up a "hidden" column that shows a representative picture across from video clips you can access whenever you need it.
1. With a list of video clips visible in the Browser, move your cursor over the column name just to the right of the Name column. In this example, the column is the Duration column.

2. Right-click on the name of the column, which brings up a contextual menu.
3. Scroll down the menu and choose the option Thumbnail.

This opens a thumbnail image across from video and certain graphic clips.

4. To scrub through a thumbnail, regular click and drag left to right.
5. Sometimes the representative thumbnail image, called the Poster Frame, isn't very helpful for identifying the clip at a glance. You can change this representative frame pretty easily by clicking and dragging across the thumbnail image until you find a frame that you want to use. To set this new frame as the Poster Frame, hold down the Control key, then let go of the mouse.
